Reputable developer James Kelly has opted for the Advantage structural/latent defects warranty at his latest scheme in Birmingham.

The small housing development named ‘Alvechurch Close’, includes 12 houses and two apartments in the West Heath area of the city. Developed under a 12-month build programme, the scheme has recently been completed on time and within budget.

James Kelly chose Advantage as its structural/latent defect warranty provider and has been incredibly impressed with the firms approach. He explained:

“Advantage were recommended to me by a colleague who also works in the industry. Whilst this was a shift for me away from working with some of the more established providers, I’ve been incredibly pleased with the move.

“The team at Advantage are always on hand if needed and have visited site several times throughout the build to ensure we were complying with our planning conditions and building regs. They are a very hands on business and a great asset to the project. I look forward to working with them again in the near future.”

The development sits on the site of a number of disused garages which has now been transformed. The houses are a mixture of terraced, semi and detached homes. All homes have already been sold to a local housing association.
