Specialists in the student accommodation sector, YPG Developments and Yu Property Group, has appointed Merseyside-based Advantage to handle the structural warranty on its latest development in Liverpool.

Set just off London Road in the heart of the city, Pembroke Studios will contain 94 self-contained studios, purpose built for Liverpool’s growing student population. The new build residential scheme is due for completion in July 2017.

David Sumner, Director of Advantage commented:

The Yu Group and YPG have been involved in several large scale student accommodation schemes throughout the North West, the latest being Pembroke Place. Work is set to begin imminently and we will work closely with YPG’s project management team to ensure the project is signed off under our structural warranty at key stages.

He added:

“Developers and contractors are increasingly being switched on to our services attracted by the five stage site visit approach and by the level of experience and understanding of our surveyors. We believe that our role is beyond simple sign offs of the warranty but to act as an invaluable source of support during the build, particularly during times when we may need to trouble shoot or devise solutions to specific site challenges.”

We have already consulted with them in the early stages and together we understand how we will roll out the project.
