Structural defects insurance specialist, Advantage, has added two new starters to its growing team.

Nick Holt joins the Warrington based firm as Relationship Manager whilst Jade Horton has been taken on as Administration Assistant.

The firm, launched in 2014, continues to enjoy considerable growth and is increasingly being considered the building warranty of choice for builders, developers and house builders throughout the UK.

David Sumner at Advantage commented:

“We’ve been staggered by the level of growth we’ve experienced during the past 12 months. There is a clearly a place in the market for a new structural warranty provider that offers an alternative service and one that is based on an open, honest and flexible approach. We aim to do things differently and this is being incredibly well received by our growing customer base.”

Advantage collaborates with each client from the very early stages of design through to hand over and delivery, offering advice and guidance on what can often be a challenging build process.

David continued:

“Any build, regardless of size or whether it is a commercial or residential project, will undoubtedly have its obstacles. We want to be able to support our clients through the process and offer guidance during keys stages, ultimately ensuring their project is signed off by our professional team.”

The founders of the business have over 60 years’ experience in the property sector, having been involved in property development and contracting for many years, therefore have a keen understanding of the sector and the build process.

David continued:

“Advantage was in way born out of our frustrations in dealing with other warranty providers for many years. We knew that there was a better way to do things and have taken the best and worst of our experiences and harnessed the positives in our business. It’s great to be able to develop and expand the business and welcome our new team members who I’m sure will prove to be real assets.”
