SIGNATURE LIVING & FORTIS, LIVERPOOL
Developers at one of Liverpool’s largest residential developments have opted for the Advantage structural/latent defects warranty at their ambitious £25million scheme.
Silkhouse Court in Tithebarn Street will offer 193 fully-furnished apartments, ranging from studio to one and two-bedroom properties. Considered one of Liverpool’s best-known city centre office blocks, the site is being transformed into a luxury apartment complex which is due for completion in March 2017.
Signature Living, a provider of buy-to-let developments to the private investor market, has collaborated with Fortis Developments in conjunction with Elite City Living. The project at the 15-storey tower, which boasts views of Liverpool city centre and the River Mersey was built in the 1980s, and is now set to enjoy a new lease of life.
Set in the heart of the city’s financial district, the property features an onsite gym and concierge service.
Dave Sumner, Managing Director of Advantage commented:
“This is a vast scheme that will raise the standard of luxury living in the town centre. We’ve been on board with the professional team since the early development phase, using our standard structural/latent defect warranty package that includes conversion schemes such as this.
“The transformation has been carried out using our five stage visit process, ensuring a dedicated surveyor visits the site at keys stages to ensure all agreed objectives are being met. Silkhouse Court is a fantastic project to be involved in and we look forward to seeing the completed development in March 2017.”
A representative of Signature Living commented:
“We’ve had a fantastic experience with Advantage who have been an important extension to our site team throughout. Their approach has been incredibly refreshing and they’ve been keen and willing to support us during each stage of the build. We would recommend their services with confidence to developers, investors and builders who are involved with both refurbishment or new build schemes.”
